Karoline Leavitt, former national press secretary for Trump, condemned the Democrats' rhetoric against the former president during a segment on Fox News. On Thursday evening, Donald Trump held a Turning Point Action rally in Las Vegas, where he criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming her campaign was "imploding." Trump also focused on his tax cut plans, addressing a supportive crowd.

"Harris is actually imploding, if you take a look. We are leading by so much," Trump declared to cheers, citing his strong polling in battleground states like Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. "They think she's grossly incompetent. Let's face it, she's not doing well."

The rally, held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, drew a large crowd, with Trump claiming 29,000 people were inside the arena and another 29,000 outside. Other prominent speakers included Florida Senator Marco Rubio, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

Trump’s speech also highlighted his pledge to eliminate taxes on tips, a policy he announced earlier in Nevada. He accused Harris of copying his proposal but failing to follow through. Trump criticized her for increasing the tip allocation tax rate and vowed to eliminate taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security benefits if elected. He took an informal poll at the rally, with seniors showing the most support for eliminating Social Security taxes.

Trump also attacked the Biden-Harris administration's border policies and accused Democrats of trying to make the U.S. military "woke." He pledged to end the war between Russia and Ukraine if he wins the presidency. "Zero chance that Putin would have gone into Ukraine if I were president," Trump claimed, vowing to call both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Nov. 5 if victorious.

He ended his speech by referencing his days on "The Apprentice," urging Nevada voters to tell Harris, "You're fired," and promising to "fix the country."

In his rally speech, Trump didn't just focus on domestic issues like taxes and the economy; he also sharply criticized the Biden administration's foreign policy, particularly its handling of the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Israel. He asserted that Russia would never have invaded Ukraine had he remained in office, claiming that his strong leadership would have deterred any such aggression.

"Sadly, zero chance that Putin would have gone into Ukraine if I were president. Zero chance. What a shame that is—all of the death," Trump said, reflecting on the war that began when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. He expressed his intent to swiftly intervene in the conflict if elected, stating that he would begin negotiating with both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy as soon as he becomes president-elect, without waiting for Inauguration Day.

Further, Trump implied that the ongoing war in Israel, following attacks by Hamas, would also have been avoided under his leadership. He didn’t delve deeply into specifics but suggested that his administration's foreign policy would have prevented these global crises from escalating.

Throughout his speech, Trump returned to his recurring theme of restoring America’s strength on the global stage, portraying his potential return to the White House as essential for regaining control over both domestic and international affairs. He underscored his belief that Biden and Harris had weakened the U.S., both economically and militarily, and promised a strong, immediate response to these challenges.

As the rally came to a close, Trump leaned into his signature phrase from his reality TV days, calling for Vice President Harris to be fired. "Nevada, you have to stand up, and you have to tell Kamala Harris that you've had enough. You can't take it anymore," he said to a raucous crowd, invoking the famous "You're fired" line from his show The Apprentice. He ended with a final appeal to voters, calling for action in November to reclaim the country from what he called disastrous Democratic leadership.
